For More Info

The process from idea to final product usually involves numerous steps. However, our clients know, if needed, a cocktail napkin sketch is all we really need to get started.

Below are the steps we follow - Ideas To Reality - Our Process.

Design and Engineering

Our design and engineering team takes pride in developing innovative and imaginative solutions that address metal manufacturing challenges. Show us a metal component, a napkin sketch, or a couple of CAD files and we'll determine what it takes to recreate your idea in metal.

This is the stage where costs and time frames are nailed down. Estimates are calculated quickly. Need to see a sample or have a one-of-a-kind job? We'll whip it up in the Prototype Shop - the place where ideas are born.

Traditional Know-How and Cutting Edge Technology

We have ten design engineers, who collectively have over 180 years in metal application experience. Our chief quality assurance officer has worked for over 30 years in both the government and the private sector.

Our engineers use the latest in computer-aided design software and equipment. Resources include state-of-the-art Pro-Engineer 3-D and AutoCAD solid modeling software systems that support direct links to CNC equipment, have an interface for DXF and IGES formats, and can output via an electrostatic plotter.

This is what goes on in our shop.

We operate over 150 metal fabrication machines on our premises to develop your individual project - including the brand new Strippit Helios Laser Cutter, the most advanced piece of metal working equipment available. For a complete listing of the tools we use in fabrication, as well as information on several of our key machines, click here.

For larger projects, we offer custom tooling to reduce overall project costs and to improve the quality of finished goods.

Welding & Assembly

It's man vs. machine, and you're the winner. We have a total of 18 stations performing TIG and MIG welding - all manned by skilled welders providing an unsurpassed level of quality.

We also offer complete or partial assembly services, including:

  • Fastening devices
  • Electrical componentry
  • HVAC
  • Soldering
  • Grommeting
  • Gasketing
  • Specialized Metal Finishing

just to name a few.

The many faces of metal.

Blast it.
Paint it.
Cover it.
Polish it.
Powder it.

Take your pick. We offer practically every imaginable type of finish to achieve exactly the look you want for your project.

Some of the common finishes include:

  • Satin Bead Blasting - At high pressure, small beads are fired at unfinished metal at super high speeds to provide a smooth, controlled texture.
  • Nylon or Rubber Coating - Any metal part can be fully covered in plastic coating available in a variety of colors.
  • Powder Coating - A really cool electrostatic process that takes to long to explain here. (If you really want to know, give us a call!)

Delivery & Inventory Management

Whether we're sending it to you only once, or if we deliver to you every week for your just in time inventory program, you can count on us for reliable and fast delivery.

We own and operate a trucking fleet that is experienced in handling metal shipments. Our goal is to accommodate the product according to product specifications or whatever is required. We also offer the Air Ride method of shipping Less Than Load (LTL) freights.

If you run a lean inventory program, such as JIT, our inventory management specialists can develop a plan that keeps OEM products arriving in concert with everything else.
