Just about every popular e-mail application supports file attachments.
Clicking on the "Send a File" link should launch your
default e-mail program from your browser. We've included step-by-step
directions for Netscape Communicator and Microsoft Internet Explorer
using their built in e-mail programs. Be sure to send your message
to hsed@harfordsystems.com.
Netscape Communicator:
- Clicking on the "Send a File" icon link should
automatically launch the composition window of Netscape Messenger.
If you would like to start it manually, simply choose from the
menu bar "Communicator" > "Messenger Mailbox"
, then click the New Message button.
- Click the button with the paper clip labeled "Attach".
A window will open and will allow you to navigate your hard
drive for the file you wish to send. Once found, simply double
click on it to attach it to your e-mail message.
- Include a subject, any necessary text, and send your message
as normal.
